Today I found the perfect saying for me. I think that it helps me to make it through each day. I know that if I have the strength to carry on and keep faith, that one day I will be able to receive the blessings that heavenly father has for me.

Prayer
I have been reading another blog that I have really liked lately called, Single Dad laughing. The blogger is amazing. He is able to express things in ways I wish I could. Maybe someday I will be able to write as well as he does. I was reading the other day about The many roads of Hell. I felt justified for the way I felt as I traveled through the many roads of Hell. We all experience our own Hells and sometimes they are deep and dark and you think you are the only one who knows how it feels to go through it.
The wonderful thing about this is that we are not the only ones who know what it feels like to go through these hells. Our Savior, Jesus Christ, has been there before us. He has suffered through every possible Hell. He is there for us when we feel like no one here on this earth can possibly know what we are going through. All we have to do is pray. Get on our knees and tell him that we feel alone. Prayer is an amazing tool that we can all use to become closer to our Savior. He knows us and knows how to help us, all we have to do is ask.
So I challenge you to pray more and become closer to your Savior. Prayer has really helped me and I hope that it can help you too.
We are NOT alone.

Issuing myself a challenge!
Well I am well on my way to the second step on water.....tonight as I begin my new journey, I wish to challenge myself to read the scriptures every day for a month. ( I have to have small goals...I don't do well with the yearly ones) I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, therefore I will be reading the Book of Mormon. I have also been reading the Old testament and I am doing really well. I am currently in the book of Judges. I have learned a lot of really neat things from the Old Testament.
My challenge comes because I have slacked off in reading lately and I feel that it may be one of the reasons I was swimming.
I hope that you will join in the challenge with me, no matter your faith. I am not here to judge anyone or to tell you which religion is right. I believe what I believe and I don't expect everyone to believe the same thing. I want this blog to be for EVERYONE. So please, join with me in reading the scriptures every day. Whatever scriptures you have in your religion, lets just read. :)

Introduction
Yep. This is me in a nutshell. I often find myself on the right path and choosing the right way to go, when all of a sudden I find myself swimming in the water. I can literally be a couple feet away from my goals and SPLASH I am in the water, pleading for the Savior to rescue me.So how can I fix this problem? I blog about it! I have no idea what this blog will become. I don't really care, it is mostly a place for me to just let it all out and maybe along the way, figure out how to spend more time walking on water, instead of swimming.
I hope you will join me in my journey, I don't know how many people will ever find this blog, I hope that someday my experiences will be helpful to someone.
Here goes Nothing....My first step ON to the water. Here is hoping I stay up!
